Over a decade ago, three ocean-loving scuba diving friends decided that enough was enough with the overfishing and abuse of the oceans

So we decided to invest time, knowledge and money to start farming fish in the most eco-friendly and sustainable way possible. The dream of taking no more fish out of the oceans had to be realized and Eco Aquaculture Asia was born. A lot of investment, brainstorming and studying was done in working towards a sustainable fish farm, but along the way we realised the traditional shrimp industry was even worse! So it was only logical that we turned our focus to growing a 100% sustainable shrimp. It was time to expand our expertise to another market in need of revolutionary changes to become sustainable for the long run, the shrimp industry. The Sustainable Shrimp (Thailand) Company was born!

Sustainable Fish Farms

In late 2018 we went back to the drawing board and The Sustainable Shrimp™ was born. We wanted to reinvent the shrimp industry completely and to have NO Antibiotics, NO destruction of mangroves, NO abandoned ponds, NO escape of shrimps, NO fishmeal and NO fish oil in the way we grow our product.
