The Vannamei shrimp is also known as the King Prawn, Whiteleg Shrimp, or the Pacific White shrimp. Its scientific name is Litopenaeus vannamei. Due to its high protein content, Vannamei shrimps give a sweet, lingering taste that keeps people coming back for more. We offer them in all sizes and they are sold by weight. Under ideal conditions, Vannamei shrimps can grow up to a length of 20 cm.
